I worked as a C++ application developer on the GPlates project, for Earthbyte, from 2006 to 2007.
My work involved design and implementation of GPlates File I/O parser components under Linux.
I was responsible for adapting GPlates code for Windows and development of initial Windows build system.

GPlates is desktop software for interactive visualisation and simulation of plate tectonics.
It features interactive reconstruction and manipulation of plate tectonic structures through geological time.
GPlates was recognized and listed by NASA in 2008 with a record entered in Data Services.
